My vision was to create a brand which stands out in a sea of digital media marketing. Initially, I struggled when attempting to create my personal brand. I had one good start and one successful attempt, but something something just didn't feel right. So, I looked to my mentor, Arturo Valesquez for critique. I received the silent treatment when considering the first execution, which translates to, he hated it! Lol. Arturo never wishes to hurt my feelings, and I usually have to pry critique out of him when he doesn't see any redeeming qualities in my work. That said, it is always worth the pain, suffering, and persistence. At the end of the day, this banter with my mentor, only makes me better. I thrive on critique, and I actually demand it. I will be forever grateful for my mentor, Arturo Velásquez. Moving forward, Arturo was truly excited about my second go at my personal logo design, and exclaimed it was INGENIOUS! I think the heavens must have parted that day because I finally felt like I hit the mark. Alas, as much as my mentor was intrigued by my design, he still felt I should express my feminine side. So, back to the drawing board I went. I spent countless hours researching beautiful, but trendy script logos. After much chagrin, I decided the best way to express my personality was through a logo which was feminine and scripty, but also bold and beautiful. I hope this personal very preview sparks as much inspiration in you, as it does me.
